\"\"En Costa Rica los registros de marcas, renovaciones, cesiones y otros tr\u00e1mites relaciones con este tipo de actividad se regula por la Ley No. 7978 del 22 de diciembre de 1999.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, los tr\u00e1mites de patentes de invenci\u00f3n, dibujos y modelos industriales y modelos de utilidad est\u00e1n regulados por la Ley No. 6867 de fecha 05 de Abril de 1983.<\/p>\n

De igual forma, Costa Rica ha suscrito a los diferentes convenios internacionales en marcas y patentes tales como el Convenio de Par\u00eds, Convenio de Berna, Convenci\u00f3n de Roma, Convenio de Lisboa, as\u00ed como ha adoptado y aplicado a la legislaci\u00f3n nacional las regulaciones internacionales en materia de PCT que regula el caso de las patentes.<\/p>\n

Por igual, los integrantes de la firma han asistido a diferentes cursos de capacitaci\u00f3n internacional en materia de marcas y patentes, entre los que se destacan los impartidos por la firma norteamericana Birch, Stewart Kolasch & Birch as\u00ed como los celebrados por la INTA en el campo de la Propiedad Intelectual.<\/p>\n

Nuestra firma realiza litigios en propiedad intelectual, ya sea en el campo de similitudes de marcas, oposiciones, competencia desleal, as\u00ed como acciones judiciales en caso de rechazos de registros marcas y patentes. Adem\u00e1s, los abogados de la empresa ejercen la profesi\u00f3n en todas acciones judiciales en contra las legislaciones dictadas o adoptadas por Costa Rica para marcas y patentes que sean contrarias a la Constituci\u00f3n de la Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n

La labor de la firma no se limita a las simples aplicaciones de registros en los campos de marcas y patentes, sino que est\u00e1 capacitada para brindar las consultas y asesor\u00edas necesarias previas a las aplicaciones que se desean presentar; o bien, emitir criterios legales para casos de marcas y patentes que est\u00e9n en conocimiento de las autoridades administrativas y judiciales.<\/p>\n
